Here are the main notary services provided:
Documents required abroad
This includes the preparation, witnessing, verification, authenticating, declaring and oath taking of documents, with red seal and notarial stamp – and if required, with a full Notarial Certificate.
Legalisation, Apostille & Consular Stamps
Often notarial documents have to be legalised by way of an Apostille issued by the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) under the Hague Convention. Apostille is the formal name for the verification by the FCO that the notary is properly registered and that his/her signature seal and stamp conform with the FCO data base. They are issued under the Hague Convention 1961. These are obtained by post (3/5 working days) or by premium same day service.
Legalisation by Consular Stamp can also be arranged, where required. Consular Stamps are issued by the legalisation desks of the various consulates and embassies, which are all based in London and with whom Nigel is in contact is on a daily basis. In the case of India, dealings are conducted at the High Commission, via an established agent; in the case of many Middle Eastern countries, dealings are directed through the London Chamber of Commerce, which is authorised by the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce.
