Complaints Procedure for Notarial Services

Although we are committed to providing a high quality notarial service, there may be times when a mistake or misunderstanding arises. If for any reason you feel the need to make a complaint, we will follow the procedure set out by Practice Rule 5A of the Notaries Practice Rules 2009 and amended by Order of the Master of the Faculties dated 8th April 2011. Please find the details as follows:

1. Nigel Pugh, Consultant with Dempster Binning LLP, is regulated by the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury:

2. If you are dissatisfied with the service you have received please do not hesitate to contact Nigel Pugh.

3. If he is unable to resolve the matter you may then complain to the Notaries Society, of which Nigel Pugh is a member. The Notaries Society has a Complaints Procedure which is approved by the Faculty Office.  This procedure is free to use and is designed to provide a quick resolution to any dispute.
